Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas Everyone! What an awesome time of year! A week or so ago we went and had Tray's pictures taken by my lovely cousin Bryndee and they are soo great! If anyone needs some pictures I'll get you her number! She does such a great job! I'll post some of my other favorites later, but considering that Christmas is just a few days away this one seemed appropriate :) I love it! This is Trays first Christmas and I am super excited. Even though he is too little to comprehend it or enjoy it, and he's still too little to open any of his presents, I am still very excited. I get to spend the holiday with my boys. My little family. Everyday with them is such a blessing and I am looking forward to waking up Christmas morning with them. This Christmas season had been really special, and one I wont ever forget. I have been pondering alot on the birth of our Savior. Having just had a baby boy of my own it seems to really bring to life how real it all was. Darren and I are faced everyday with the task of raising Tray. And though we are very greatful for each moment with him, it is very hard. I wonder and worry if we will be able to raise him and teach him right. I wonder what kind of person he will grow to be. Can you imagine how Mary and Joseph felt? Knowing they were raising the Savior? It absolutely awe inspiring. They were without a doubt an incredible couple. On that note... Merry Christmas!!

Collins Christmas Party!

This last weekend was the annual Collins christmas party. I have gone to this party every year since I can remember. Its a night filled with food, family and Santa.. Yay! The morning or the party there was a big snow storm so Grandpa Collins attempted to cancel it. But my aunts were so upset at thought of it being cancelled that they protested until it was back on :) So we all trudged through the snow to go see Santa. We dressed Trayden up in the cutest christmas outfit to show him off. He spent the night being passed between his loving aunts and sleeping right through it. Then when Santa showed up we realised that Tray was in serious need of a diaper change. So Darren hurried to go change his diaper and was lucky enough to find that the mess had traveled beyond the diaper and all over his cute clothes. Ha ha so he got changed into some jammies and hurried back just in time to scream at Santa. Of course he slept like an angel right up until it was time for a picture. Gotta love it! :) After all that excitement we were all very very tired so we came on home to go to bed.
My Boys are so cute together!!

One Month Old!

One month old! Can you believe it? Time sure does fly by now that Tray is here. The days all seem to mesh together and I cant ever seem to catch my breath. Its funny how when I was pregnant with him the days seemed to drag on and I thought he would never get here.. and now its completely opposite. Well things are going pretty great. In one month he has changed so much. Its so much fun to see his personality develop :) One of our favorites is when he sneezes. It is so cute! more often than not he'll get a few real sneezes out then thinks he has another one and ends up just yelling out a "fake sneeze". He's constantly looking around trying to figure everything out. He is even holding up his head some which is so much fun. Darren and Tray have tummy-time every night so Tray can strengthen his neck. It sure is fun to see them together. We have had very few people say that Tray looks like me. He's just a little Darren apparently. :) I guess they do look alike huh? Handsome boys! Looks aside we can definitely tell that Tray is Darrens son cause I spend the majority of the day feeding him! :) And his appetite just keeps growing and growing. And if i'm not there ready to feed him he tries eating those around him. In this picture Tray decided to try eating his Dads nose. It was pretty funny! Anyways.. This week has been pretty crazy. Darren has been looking for a new job and I have been trying to get everything organized and ready for Traydens baby blessing this coming sunday. It will be fun to show him off! We are blessing him in my parents ward which I'm pretty excited about. Since I grew up in that ward there will be lots of people there who I love and care about. Darren is pretty nervous about blessing Tray. I'm just glad its the Dads job!! Ha ha I would never be able to do that. Just another thing I love about my husband. He's willing to do the uncomfortable! :) It will be an awesome experience for all of us though. I sure love my boys!

The New Addition

Here he is! The new tiny center of our world! Isn't he incredible? Labor and delivery went really really well. It wasn't at all like you imagine it would be. Stupid Hollywood. Ha ha It was amazing. I woke up Halloween morning ready to go buy my halloween candy and get my costume on. I love halloween and was so excited to have my first trick-or-treaters :) But my plans were altered slightly when I realized my water had broken. After freaking out for a bit I let Darren know that we needed to get going! So off we left for the hospital. But of course we were out of gas so we had to stop and fill up. Classic. Once we got to the hospital I waddled up to the counter and let the nice lady know that my water had broken and that I was getting their nice floors all wet. She then, instead of escorting me to my room, handed me a clip board and let me fill out all sorts of paper work.. while still getting the floors wet! After what seemed like ages they finally gave me a VERY lovely gown to wear and let me go to my room. They then informed me that my water had indeed broken and that I was there to stay. Baby was on the way!

About 9 hours later our little man was born. Trayden Darren Anderson. Born at 9:55pm on 10/31/08. He weighed 6lbs 5ozs and was 19 inches long. Just a little guy! Man he is just so cute! Can I just say that Darren was absolutely incredible through it all. He was right there with me the whole time offering mounds of support and cheering me on. We were both kind of afraid that he would be a bit queasy and wouldn't be able to handle it, but that didn't end up being the case. He was wonderful! I could not have done it without him. We are so happy with our little Trayden.. He is perfect. We are very very blessed. 10 fingers, 10 toes... 100% perfect. We love him so much and couldn't possibly be happier.

Life Changes

Isn't it amazing how something so tiny can change your life so drastically? And how time seems to freeze when you're waiting to see those two pink lines? And then when they actually do show up then the flipping out stages start.. First you flip out cause you can't believe its actually true! Which results in peeing on 3 more sticks just to be sure the first one got it right. Then you flip out because you are so excited! This results in hours of searching for the right clothes, furnture and name. And of course shoving a pillow up your shirt and modeling for the mirror trying to determine weather or not you'll make a cute pregnant lady or not.And then watching your husband freak out months later cause it finally sunk in that he gets to pay for it all and deal with the puffy sweaty "cute" pregnant lady. :) All jokes aside being pregnant really was wonderful. I loved it! I loved knowing a baby was growing inside of me and I especially loved feeling him move. Darren was wonderful through it all! Weather he was holding me while I bawled for hours for reasons niether of us knew, or making me waffles at 3 in the morning just cause I had a craving, he was a trooper! The best part of all was when the baby would kick extra hard because Darrens hand was on my belly. It was absolutely wondreful. Its one of those awesome moments in life you never forget it!

Forever & Ever

**As we grow older together, As we continue to change with age, There is one thing that will never change. . . I will always keep falling in love with you.**
Being married is such an adventure. You never know what tomorrow will bring, what trials you'll have to face or what joys you will get to experience. But being married and knowing that I will always have the one I love by my side, gives me the strength and the courage to face whatever may come.
Darren and I met up at Utah State. We were in the same ward and in the same apartment complex. We knew who each other were for months but never cared to talked to the other, thinking that the other was stuck up :) See I was friends with his roommate... and he and his roommate hated each other. So naturally his roommate told me all sorts of awful things about Darren so I believed the worst about him, and Darren assumed the worst about me bacuse I was friends withs with the enemy. But one magical night, Country dancing at the Fun Park, we ran into each other.. danced.. fell hopelessly in Love..and the rest is history! :)
