Uncle BOO!

My little brother Quinton holds a special place in my little Trayden's heart. Everytime they see each other they play a never ending game of Peak-a-Boo. So now Tray calls Uncle Quinny "Boo". He walks around my Mom's house calling "Boo! Boo!", trying to find Quinton. It is really cute. I actually hope the nick-name will stick. :)

Tray and Uncle Boo
(It looks like they're making a mad face, but this is actually the face Tray makes when he's trying to smell something. Or whenever he see's any flowers he makes this face cause he know hes supposed to smell them ha ha)

As for an update on our moving around situation... We got everything packed up and moved out of our apartment. Man it was a LOT of work.. and it was a little apartment.. I cant imagine packing a house! We found a town home in Logan that we really love! We will be signing the lease soon. I cant wait. Its SOO much bigger than our little tiny apartment. And thanks to Logans awesome living prices, its hundreds of dollars cheaper a month! :) Gotta love that. We are still waiting to hear back on Darren's job. They will know for sure if they have a spot open for him soon though. Once we know about that everything will feel a lot more settled. Until then Tray and I will be in Logan during the week and Darren will come to us on the weekends until he can switch over to a job there.

Here is me and Tray in our empty apartment.. So sad.. I always have a hard time leaving places we've lived.. Its hard to leave all the memories...

I was sad to leave but Tray was ready to go! Lol

More exciting news.. I have TWO new NEPHEWS!! I can't believe how lucky we are to have two new boys in the family :) Tray is the first boy so its nice to get a few more. Pictures and more info to come!!

AGAIN??

Well everyone.. its happening again... Were MOVING!

UGH!

Have I ever mentioned that I hate moving? I hate it. I truly hate it. I hate packing. I hate unpacking. I hate the mess. I hate everything about it. But I guess sometimes it has to happen. It probably seems kind of sudden.. but its been in the works for a while now.

REASON: My darling husband has started school again! Yay! I am so very proud of him! He is officially a full time student at Steven Henegar College, majoring in Business Administration. :) And he is just so excited about it. We had been brainstorming for a veeery long time trying to decide what he WANTS to do. I told him I didn't care what we needed to do to make it happen, I wanted him to figure out what he wanted to do and work toward something he will love. Business is Darren's passion and he's loving his school work. (As much as you CAN love school work anyways) :) He has been taking classes online for a little while now but we want him to be able to go to a campus and interact with his professors. SO..

MASTER PLAN: Our apartment lease is up the end of this month and the management gave us two options. Either sign a new lease, minimum 10 months, or go month to month and pay an EXTRA hundred bucks a month! Can you believe it? That would be close to a thousand bucks a month for a ONE bedroom! No thank you! So we are packing up our few possessions and moving over to a neighborhood on the other side of town. Darren's parents have a home out there and we'll be staying there till the end of the year at least. We will still be attending our ward though, thank goodness. Which means at least another month of friends, fun, and volleyball Fridays :) I'm not at all ready to say goodbye yet. So we'll stay there and save that rent money, which will be super nice, then we'll pack up again and be heading to LOGAN, UT!

I am so bummed to be moving again.. its always hard for me to move. And its especially hard this time around because we have made so many great friends here who we will miss very much. Its going to be tough making the transition, it always is, but I know its going to be worth it. We knew at the beginning of the year that we were supposed to come to WY, and we were very blessed for doing so. We have made a lot of friends and memories that we'll cherish forever. But now we feel we need to be in Logan, so that is where we are headed. I am actually very excited to be going back to Logan. We both are. That is where Darren and I met and we just love it over there. The temple, the stores, the food, the mountains, the camping, the dancing, the closeness to our favorite recreation spots... and of course now Darren's school :) We are so excited to be moving back. We have been job searching over there and will hopefully be hearing from our preferred prospect today. *Fingers Crossed* Then once we have a job lined out we will find an apartment and get things situated.
This week is going to be a crazy one! I will post an update on everything in a few days. :)

Family Pics

A few weeks ago we decided to finally get out and attempt some family pictures :) Our friend Jen was super great and took them for us. I think they turned out way cute. We were racing against the sun, trying to get a few in with the little light there was left (due to my awful planning skills) So they re kind of night time pictures. Maybe we'll get out again and get some with the sun out lol But here are some that I really liked.

Thanks Jen! You talented woman, you!

First Hair Cut!

Ok so technically this was Trays second hair cut... a few days before Trays birthday party we got his hair trimmed to get rid of his mullet and wings, but didn't want to cut it all the way cause he needed some hair for his Elvis costume. So after his party and Halloween, we went back and had it CUT. He looks like such a big boy now! And so much more like Darren. Its just crazy... to see him walking all over the place, and having his hair so short.. he just looks so old! My baby is gone! He has been replaced with a very big, albeit very CUTE, toddler. :)

Trays birthday was on Halloween, so we had plenty to do. What a fun weekend! Thursday night we had his birthday party. Then Friday night we had the ward party and Trunk or Treat. Then Saturday we had some family time where Tray got to open and play with all of his presents. Then we went to a Halloween party at the fair grounds where Tray got to ride some horses. He LOVED it! He thought they were dogs and kept calling them "Woof-Woofs" Then we went trick or treating at the mall, which was fun. Trays Elvis costume was hit! Some old lady in Walmart even chased us down to make sure she saw it right. :) After the mall we went to a pizza party our complex was having, then we took Tray around to some friends houses to Trick or Treat. We then had ANOTHER dinner with some friends, (when I say WE I mean my bottomless pit of a husband) passed out candy and watched the new Ice Age. Tray got to stay up super late and play with his friend so he was super happy :) It was a really really busy weekend and I can honestly say I am glad to be starting a new week. Now I just have to clean up the effects of last weekend around my house.

Trays Birthday Party!

Last night we had a birthday party for Tray-Tray. It went great and was so much fun! but MAN I am glad its over.. I don't know how its possible for a party for a one year old to be so much work! Anyone who knows me can testify that I am not the best planner in the world.. So I struggled a bit lol But we pulled it off and it was worth it. Before the party started I was running around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to get everything in order. Tray got to hang out for a couple hours with his Auntie and cousin so I could finish up the cakes, which was such a HUGE help. Thanks Rachel! Darren of course had a super huge work day and couldn't make it home until right before we had to leave to go over and set up for the party so I was stressing out a little bit. So being the WONDERFUL husband that he is he came home and surprised me with some roses.. Just to make me smile. :) What a catch huh!? It was so sweet.. It took all the energy I had left not to cry all my barely-applied-makeup off. Man I love him! Tray got to hang out for a few hours with a curler in his hair which was so cute! He was dressed as ELVIS and pulled it off great. What a cutie. We were going to do some black side burns too but I decided I really didn't want him getting black make up all over his outfit.

The roses Darren brought home for me.
